Donald J. Hackl, FAIA
President

Don Hackl joined the firm in 1963 and has served as President of Loebl Schlossman & Hackl since 1975. During his tenure, the firm has more than quadrupled its commissions and expanded its services to clients worldwide. Under his direction, the firm has been internationally recognized for the quality of its design through numerous awards and winning design competitions.

Throughout his career, Mr. Hackl has been actively involved in practice leadership, education, and community affairs domestically and globally. A Fellow and 63rd President of the American Institute of Architects, he also currently serves on the Executive Committee and Board of the Union Internationale des Architectes in Paris, France. He earned his bachelors and masters in architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
